The Dorm Hotel

ITHACA,NY

Far above Cayuga’s waters is a little university called Cornell. They have a world-renowned hotel school, that produced the likes of Rob Poprawski. Rob returned to Ithaca to open the coolest hotel ever - a Cornell-themed hotel with souped-up smaller rooms that resemble dorms. (Minus weird roommates and empty bottles of alcohol, of course).

I did this project in two stages, the first being the incredibly detailed collage filled with references to the famous list of “161 Things Every Cornellian Should Do,” as well as other Big Red hallmarks.

For the second part, Rob invited me back to add some other elements on four of the five floors (we’re brainstorming for the fifth, don’t worry). I found a vintage bumper sticker with some happy bears, and we ran with it.
